Soil substrates and fillers intensive green roof - planters. This chapter planning and preparation is also one of the important segments of the overall system. Proper and adequate selection of soil substrate and other fillers intensive green roof – planters is a requirement for normal growth and development of plants. The amount of soil substrate and the amount of other fillers, their arrangement and type is planned and determined on the basis of the type of plants, climate, possibilities for irrigation and other various parameters. We dealt this chapter separately under the theme Green roofs and horticulture and we do not mention it in this section.
