Residential facility UP-1-12 Tara, is located in the heart of the resort of Porto Montenegro in Montenegrin Tivat and it represents a typical example of the connection between the Mediterranean architecture and the needs of today’s modern man. The facility structure is jagged with terraces looking on the bay, walkable roofs and plateau with swimming pools. There is also a plenty of constructive planters with various Mediterranean plants, from small shrubs, fruiting olive trees to tall cypress trees.
All of this made a challenge to design and perform of long-lasting and high-quality waterproofing system, which in this case consisted of two kinds of materials, polymer-cement waterproofing and PVC membrane waterproofing on building parts such as plateaus, terraces, flat walkable roofs and swimming pools. Protection from the negative influence of water in planters, was designed and performed by implementing a PVC membranes waterproofing.
